SGSX | Wukong-Armor High-Top Sneakers - Black&Gold
Design Inspiration:
Centered on the iconic Golden Chainmail Armor of Sun Wukong, the shoe upper recreates the scaled texture of ancient armor, using a rubbed, gilded-like finish to capture the luminous sheen of gold. The side panels employ special materials to form a subtle relief, replicating the intricate chainmail pattern—symbolizing an unbreakable warrior spirit.
The golden helmet motif is condensed onto the tongue, while skirt-armor elements wrap around the collar, preserving the traditional cultural meaning of “armor that protects its wearer.” Lightweight modern materials ensure comfort, blending heritage craftsmanship with contemporary sneaker design.
By translating mythical symbols into a modern streetwear language, the shoe allows traditional heroism to be carried into daily life. Young wearers can feel the power of cultural heritage through their outfits, achieving a fusion of classic iconography + trend-driven design for true cultural transmission.
